Cabin Life

 Is there really anything better than being at the Lake? There is just something about that fresh air, the sounds of bird chirping, the calming water, that just puts you in relaxation mode. I always sleep better at the lake too, it may be the fact that I am outside all day in the sun, swimming, boating, chasing around a three year old and having a newborn, but who really knows? Anyways, I do believe that nature and outdoors is just good for your soul.

 One year ago my husband and I bought cabin near friends and family on the lake so we could have a place to call our own, and space to have with our growing family. We had spent the last few summers up in Donnelley (just 10 miles from McCall, Idaho) and even went on our honeymoon there. It is a beautiful place if you haven't been, the lake water is warm, the people are friendly, and the drinks (no matter who's cabin you go to) are always cold. 

 These are a few snapshots of what a weekend up at the cabin looks like. I am always taking photo shoot appointments when we are up there too. Just a short 90 mile drive from Boise Idaho, and even shorter drive from the people in McCall and along the way. Lets escape to the mountains and make something beautiful.
